Special fabrics

Special fabrics made by MEP-OLBO are used in the production of high-quality special application products. These include textile reinforcements for industry, personal protection, sports and leisure and the automotive industry. Indeed, the spectrum ranges from textiles for life rafts, rubber dinghies, offshore hoses, snowcats and agricultural applications, all the way to base fabrics for bullet proof vests for the police and armed forces and fabrics for special applications used in the most diverse fields of application.

Thanks to many years of experience and appropriate machinery, we are able to precisely fulfill every specification no matter how meticulous. In our production we only use high-quality raw materials, such as Aramid, which displays characteristics comparable with those of steel thanks to its extremely high strength.

Our textiles for special applications fulfill similarly high safety requirements in the manufacture of life rafts and rubber dinghies, where the quality of the processed materials used is vital.

Special fabrics from MEP-OLBO are likewise needed for reinforcing timing belts in the automotive industry and in the manufacture of membranes.
